Frequently Asked Questions

Do guests need to download an app?

No. Nektar is a Progressive Web App. Guests access it through a web link or QR code, and it installs on their home screen in seconds — no App Store or Google Play required.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. Core features like menus, maps, event schedules, and wayfinding are cached locally using service workers. Guests can access them even with no network connection.

Can we use our own branding?

Absolutely. Each property gets its own subdomain (yourproperty.nektar.to), color theme, logo, and custom content. Guests see your brand, not ours.

What about groups and conferences?

Nektar supports sub-instances for groups, conferences, weddings, and corporate retreats. Each group gets its own branded experience with custom content, schedules, and wayfinding — often offered as a premium service that covers the platform cost.

How do we manage content?

Through a full admin dashboard with a rich text editor, media library, drag-and-drop ordering, and role-based access control. Your team can update everything without technical help.
